GOOD FINAL RESULTS IN THE JAPANESE GP

Redding stays firm on the Top 10 and Vázquez also scores points

The 250cc riders add kilometers and experience in a complicated race

After a weekend with so many different faces, the Blusens Aprilia team has finished today his participation in the Japanese GP with a good overall result. In the 125cc class the two riders of the team owned by Raul Romero have been able to score points, with the young Scott Redding (8th) that has shown again his quality and has managed to confirm his Top 10 on the World Championship, with 91 points. His teammate Efrén Vázquez (14th) has gone of less to more during the race and he has also been able to get into the points after a very tough battle. Both have been able to escape from the crashes of the first lap in which a lot of riders have gone out. Due to this crashes the race have been broken in different separated groups, with the riders of the Blusens Aprilia inside different groups and having so complicated to overtake positions.

The 250cc class race has also been so hard for Manuel Hernández (19th) and Dani Arcas (20th). Both riders of the Spanish team have been able to finish the 23 laps of this GP of Japan. Although they have finished outside the points, both have made o good job and have surpassed good part of the difficulties they have run into. In order to Manuel Hernández, the rider from Cartagena has had some problems with the clutch of his bike and he hasn’t been able to improve in the classification. His teammate Arcas has shown a good concentration by finishing a race in which he has ridden alone and without any reference. This experience is going to be very good for him to continue with his adaptation to the category. Now without time to rest, the Blusens Aprilia team will leave immediately to the Australian circuit of Philip Island, where the next weekend they will try to confirm the results obtained today, because they have deposited great hopes in that GP.

Scott Redding (125cc – 8th - 40’22”621 - 2’00”139) “The start of the race has been determining. Although I’ve been able to avoid the crashes I’ve remained cut and I have not been able to contact with the head group. From that moment I’ve concentrated to maintain the differences between me and the riders who came behind. Something that hasn’t been easy because my bike did not run as much as yesterday and in addition I’ve had so much grip problems. I finish satisfied by the realised effort and by to me to have strengthened between the ten better riders of the championship”.

Efrén Vázquez (125cc – 14th - 40’48”857 - 2’00”699) The basque rider has retaken this weekend his progression after the step back taken at Indianapolis: “again I’ve carried out a race of less to more. I’ve started rather well but I’ve seen braked by all the crashes of the beginning. Between those scares, that the track today was much more cold and that the back tire did not have anything of grip, the first part of the race has been very uncomfortable. Later I’ve maintained a very hard battle to enter the points. Fortunately I’ve solved that battle in my favor in an incredible last lap. We have reached the objective and in Australia it will be necessary to take another step”.

Manuel Hernández (250cc – 19th - 45’07”988 - 1’56”659) “Always is positive to finish the race after a weekend full of disadvantages. In any case I had better expectations for today. In the race I haven’t been able to obtain the suitable pace and I’ve had a problem with the clutch that has made me slide in excess and punish too much the back tire. All this has moved me away from the group that was in front of me”.

Dani Arcas (250cc – 20th - 43’25”958 + 1lap - 1’57”230) “It’s been a very hard race because from the first moment I have ridden alone. In the beginning a multiple fall has taken place that has left me cut and I haven’t had enough pace to reach to the riders in front of me. When riding without no reference I have had to be very concentrate not to make mistakes and the race has become very long for me. In the end I have managed just to complete it, something very important for my adaptation. We will see if in Australia I can enjoy a little more”.
